While I am thrilled to be back in the States and have a chance to catch up with family and friends as well as finally start prepping for the baby's arrival, I must say that I am not enjoying being separated from Daniel! After I left, he stayed in Germany for an extra week to wrap up things at work, and just today he checked into a 10 week training course in Virginia Beach. I am really hoping to go visit him mid-February, and we'd love to see friends and family on the east coast during that time as well. Hopefully it all works out! Plus, between school, traveling, baby preparations and the like, I am sure we will both very busy and the end of March will come quickly, which is when Daniel will be joining me in San Diego. Needless to say, I am looking forward to it already.
So we may no longer be in Europe, but I still have more of our excursions from across the pond to blog about... which means that our "European Adventure" is not quite done yet :) Over the next couple weeks, I hope to share about the last few trips that I still haven't posted about, so please stay tuned in for those. Until then, all the best to you and yours as you enjoy the New Year!
